    Rain gear: Kuiu vs. Sitka

Ive had the same patagonia goretex coat for fishing for 10 years - never any problem. Very surprised at guys saying they leak in 2 years - that gotta be due to heavy brush right? weird i bought a discontinued sitka cloudburst set - hope its good. I sent back my FL SEAK due to poor fit and a...

FL Solitude system - compare to FL Woodbury, Sitka Fanatic, plus size question

i used to run the Woodbury -i dont care what anyone says, the wind gets through it. The solitude was a direct replacement for it but i went to sitka. (You arent asking but the fanatic jacket is miles away better than my woodbury was. Warmer and true windstopper. ) I run the stratus pant with...

    First lite

Ive sold nearly all my first lite and went to sitka, but the corrugate pants are keepers. I agree with the above to get some knee pads the sitka pants with knee pads, the pad didnt really rest on my knee 100% of the time anyway

Update Cycle for Sitka Incinerator ?

Hey all - curious if anyone has caught a whiff if the Incinerators will have an update for this year or not until Spring of 2021? Merino....how's it work for you?

Im back to synthetic. I drank the merino base layer kool aid and after last year’s repeated miseries i sold most of it. Wind cuts right through it - even with 3 layers of it. This year ill be heavy on sitkas polygiene base layers so ill see how the smell goes with those. In my treestand...

    Jetstream and rain

glad to hear u are taken care of, i wanted to quickly make the comment that u cant compare the jetstream to the seak - different style coats - softshell vs hardshell u could always get an ultralight rain coat to have in ur bag, for aggressive rain and to protect ur softshell. the outdoor...

    Puffy pants for glassing

i have the uncompaghre pants, and for the size and weight i wish they were a tad warmer, my mother in law had to sew suspender loops on them as they rely on really cheap cruddy elastic in the band to stay on - no belt loops or suspender points. very bad on FLs part to not have the ability to...
