    I have a tendency to agree above. My buddy had the late tag last year and we scouted from September forward just to get an idea of access and hunting pressure throughout the seasons. It’s a huge unit and I have no doubt you will see/ hunt some big bulls

They did somewhat show a tag (if drawn) in the NMDFG app last year if you selected E-Tag option the night before they posted...

    It’s not a bad hunt. I do think they issue WAY too many tags in that rifle season. Like posts previous it’s an opportunity hunt. Not a trophy hunt. I would definitely recommend using other units to glass into 22n.

    I shot the 125 solid tips last year and they did great. Full pass through on the elk I shot. Easily sharpened the tip and used the same head on a late season deer.     I would do take the trade. Clarity beats magnification hands down. I would rather have a new set of 10x42 ELs over vortex 15s, 12s,10s and even spotter combined. Now if they are the older ELs it would be a different story
