My brother looked in to e-bikes...we currently run ATV's when hunting mule deer.
To me, it's a no-brainer...use your ATV. Yes, it's louder, but when it's out of fuel...just fill it up. When an electric bike runs out of juice...you are pushing it.
We haul our deer on back of ATV. Try doing...
Welcome! You are in the right place to research and learn about chasing Mule deer. Great information here. I don't hunt mountains or backpack in...been chasing Muley's here in NE since 2011. General advice:
- Your 270 will be good. Make sure you have it sighted in and ready to roll out to a...
I lived in Missouri for 15+ years, had opportunity to hunt on private land that butted up against public...hardwoods, lots of timber, sounds a lot like what you experience in TX - orange army, lots of people.
Western Nebraska hunting is different...Sandhills are vast, rolling hills, with the...
I've hunted Nebraska public since 2011...tagged three Mule deer in that time...the biggest is pictured below. I've never seen a larger deer on public land before or since...honestly I think this buck wandered on to public from private...he was just 1/2 mile from property line.

I've hunted NE public for Muley since 2011...tagged three, the biggest being this one in 2017. Opening morning of rifle season, he was in a valley with two other bucks and six does. Put the sneak on him...got to within 212 yards...he fell with one shot. This was the biggest Mule buck I have...
I've fun Firestone and Goodyear on my 1/2 ton's, and tried Bridgestone on my 3/4 ton. Friend is service manager at local GM dealership...he recommended BFG AT's...I put them on my 2004 back in 2007...and got 65k miles on that set. Wonderful in wet and snow. Not to shabby in mud.
BFG's are all...

Pull the backstrap, tenderloin out, then take rest to local locker. They process lots of beef and pork.
Love their peperjack deer sticks & cheddar summer sausage. Best is the cheddar deer brats!
Yes, costs more than doing it myself, but it's quick, easy, and tastes great!
One my Assistant Directors took a job in Fairbanks. I called her "Girl-Nola," she was all about camping, being outdoors, loved living there. She met a guy who was equally outdoorsy, and they camped often.
Wife and I were up to visit and asked about bears and their preferred choice for...
Brother has been saving for a Springfield Armory M1A Loaded 6.5 Creedmoor for a while. He finally pulled the trigger and ordered it...now he has tasked me with figuring out what scope to put on top.
I put Leupold Vari-X's on my -06 and 7MAG back in the early 2000's, but I'm confident there...
