It said in the box next to it I was successful and my preference points went to 0 ( I applied with 0). And I had a friend check his at the same exact time and he was unsuccessful without the definitions.
It says I was unsuccessful in drawing a combo license. “However you were successful in drawing a released big game combination license from the pool of licenses that were returned after the initial drawing”.
At the bottom under Not Successful it says:

If you really wanted to relieve pressure on wildlife you'd have to stop every sort of recreation on the winter range. Yes in theory this will stop some harassment from specific groups of humans but it will not stop all harassment and pressure.
I just want to know why states prop up the outfitters so much? Is it because someone who will book with an outfitter is more likely to pay more for a tag and spend more in their local economy than a DIY guy? Like are they trying to bring in a niche of hunters that want to burn more money?
So if there was an error, will they be able to tell who was affected and who wasn't? And will we be able to see or learn if we were one of the affected ones or not?
Welp didn't get the LE breaks tag I wanted but knew I may be a point or 2 short. Time to start picking general units to look at and then maybe make 1 scouting trip in july to check out the terrain
I read it as you got the elk combo but didn't get the deer combo. Retained meaning you keep your points. Released in that you gave up your points to get that tag
