I'm just putting together a lightweight hunting rifle and I have been eyeballing the Zeiss V6 3-18x50. Are any of you running it on a long action? I have a Kelbly Nanook action with a split pic rail and I'm wondering if I will have enough room with the short tube on the zeiss. If it does fit... -

They both seem like great scopes. I recently checked out the vx5 3-15 and vx4 4-16 at scheels. We took them outside and to my eyes I couldn't tell a difference in the glass. I did prefer the turret on the vx5. I will be going with the htmr vx5 once its available again. -

What bullets are you shooting this season?
140 vld-h at 3130 out of a 26" prc. -
Range finder suggestions
Leica 2800.com has been great. I can range my longest steel target (24x32") at 1760 yards with no tripod. No comparison to sig kilo 2000 and 2200. Glass and ranging are superior and the laser actually lines up in the center of reticle.
