+1 for ariat. Some of them are a little eccentric for my taste, but the denim is thicker, and the stitching holds up well.

Hank Shaw has it dialed! Starting out the heat lower, and bumping it up really seems to help retain the fat. I use maple syrup, and only glaze twice.

Almost 70 k on my Ridge grapplers. Will put another 4000 taking them to Co in a month. Still too much tread to justify replacing them. Generally chain up on fs roads that time of year anyway. They are all I have found that are competent off road, and not sketchy driving hard on wet pavement. Few...
I was in the same boat 5 years ago. There is a theme in this thread that helped me get fixed up. Commitment to a daily stretching routine that focuses on hip mobility glutes and hamstrings fixed me. Tons of information out there that will help you find what works for you.

Been leaning towards cheap intant coffee from Aldi. Put it in a zip lock snack bag, and call it good enough. I can make it as strong or weak as I am feeling, and a jar costs a few bucks. Tried some overgrown teabags from steeped that made a nice cup, but they make alot of trash, and are bulky...
Check in with local bbq shacks. If they do a quantity of brisket, they have lots of beef fat probably. Most trim them up before smoking.

Thank you for posting this pods! Woman on the phone was very pleasant, and if you order 4 boxes, you save 3 bucks a bod which covers a little better than the shipping!

I tried Graingers wash in dwr. Had marginal results and it washed out pretty quickly. They dry fast enough I don't bother anymore.

Thanks guys! They were feeding heavy on top water. Tiny elk hair flies with a clear bobber were the ticket. Anything flashy, or if they saw a hook, they turned their nose at it. Had a ball, and got the kids on some fish! Thanks again fellas!

I have them rigged with 6lb mono. I have a full panther arsenal and some small cast masters. I will need to do some home work on rigging a slip float/nymphs and wooly boogers. (I am pretty basic on the fishing, but really appreciate the direction on upping our game). Thanks for the replies...
Taking the family on a trek through Co and Ut for the next few weeks. Wanted to reach out to the community on some pointers for catching cutthroat trout, in the Co high country lakes. I have seen fish in the body of water we will be fishing. Water is at treeline, and spinning tackle will be used...
I think mine are 3 years old now. They are really holding up well. My only beef is on wet rocks, they sole is probably too hard, and can be slick. They took a little to break in the uppers. They creaked a little at the beginning. I have not seen a comparable boot for the price. My .02

Thanks guys for all of the replies. I will get forester for what I can, but they have been difficult to find in some calibers.
