The way I read it from Go Hunt is that is currently there is a 80 20 split and residents can get general tags otc. So are you saying that if it goes to 90 10 split my chances of drawing a general wont decrease by 50%. If it were to pass I would pay around 1200 for a general tag and 6 points...
Just wanted to put out there the new bill that WY is proposing is to raise nonresident elk Tags 15% and cut the tags allocated around 50% for 2022. I am hoping this doesn't happen because that will mean my boys won't have the opportunity to hunt WY with there dad. Hear in WI there is no limit...
I appreciate the feedback I had been hearing that and it makes a guy question certain areas. The hardest thing I have when scouting is trying to figure out where the crowds are not. There is so much info out now a days that it can lead everyone to the same spot.
Thanks I am trying to dial in my areas a little better I'm hoping to have a little better experience than CO which is getting very crowded as everyone knows. Last year was probably double the amount of hunters I have seen previous years.
I will be the only one drawing. I have 3 points. My son has 1 currently. I am very excited to take a break from CO. Hopefully we can get a bull this year since it would really make it a special to put a bull down with my son since it will be his first experience in the elk woods.
