Arizona elk tag for Dad

My dad is going to be 73 this fall. He can get around pretty well but not great, and he can’t really draw his bow back anymore. He has 19pts I’m thinking of putting him in for unit 1 vs 23 late season elk. Leaning towards 1 because of easier topography as well as some familiarity. input would...

La Sal La Sal late elk hunt

My CC got hit for $800 so it looks like I’ll be heading to La Sal La Sal for the late rifle hunt. If anyone has any insight it would be appreciated. Although it will not help for the late season I will be doing some late summer camping trips just to learn the roads and area.

Bowtech sr6 vs vertix/triax

Bowtech sr6 vs vertix/trial etc. looking for a new bow, gonna sample a few. Pros/cons? Ideas? Thanks in advance, I’ve been slinging arrows with the same bear bow for 20yrs, just thought it’s time for an upgrade.
