Looking for a unicorn, just recieved a NIB Gen 1 MegaTarp and would love to find an annex for it before I modify my SuperTarp annex.

I feel like it's unlikely that I will be getting it back so I'm looking for a replacement small day pack.
Open to suggestions but would like to stay high quality Kifaru, HPG, MR ect.

Has any one found a company that will insert a custom stove jack? I'm planning on upgrading my old Hubba Hubba to a new model with gear shed and would like to put a stove in the shed.

No but the hunter in my photo did exactly that with a competitor's setup. Excellent multi use item for the back country.
I came very close to buying a Spartan tent / tripod combo this summer but with fall hunts canceled I held off. I love the idea of using a single item for multiple purposes...
Yup Northern B.C. been a tough year for Outfitters up here..... on a positive note we've had 2 clients bring Spartan bipods recently and they are the cats ass.

When your client convinces you it's a good idea for him to pack his tripod and it pays off. Harvested a great goat and without the tripod it would have been a tough shot.[emoji106]

I've spent my life guiding goats in Northern B.C. any rifle with a properly placed bullet CAN kill a goat but personally I feel all 3 of those chamberings would be marginal at best.
Pound for pound goats are an incredibly tough animal if you want to stay with an AR platform I would suggest going...
Thanks I have one similar to that we use around the yard.
I live your blog lots of great info.
I think I'm going to build my own sawbuck if I get a really good design I'm planning on getting a friend to roto-mold poly fully adjustable ones.
Have you ever built one?

Correct no shoes in general. I know in really tough conditions guys will shoe the front on full size mules but I have no plans to do so.

I'm just starting on this journey with the mini-mules, they were basically freebies at $100 a piece however they were totally unbroken.
I have been very impressed with the way they are coming around, I had halters on with in the first week and by the end of the month I could work on their feet...
I'm planning on trying out Swazi this fall figured I'd check to see if any one was selling used first.
LG/XLG prefer Tahr or Tahr light

Hey thanks for the advice on the Mules. It's been pretty satisfying so far the young one (Remi) is letting me handle his feet and the older one (Moe) is coming around.
Luckily I grew up ranching and have always owned horses so the commitment and general animal husbandry doesn't bother me it's...
While stage one of my mini pack mule program has commenced.
Purchased 2 brothers 1.5 yrs and 2.5yrs old. They came totally unbroken in any way and with in a week we have halters on and they are leading pretty well.
Time to start working on their feet and and manners.
Has any one else went down...
