FYI - the metal "key ring" type attachment has a tendency to "eat" through the attachment point on the binos. I used something similar to this one in the past and the key ring metal is stronger than the alloy on my Swaro ELs and cut through the attachment point on my binos. I had to send them...
I have to agree with this one. One time the TSA brought over the bomb sniffing dog to check out my spotting scope that came out of my "camo" pack. After going through the scanner, they asked what it was and I explained it was a spotting scope. "Why is it in the case?" I am trying to keep it...
Hey MattB,
I have the leupold 1000i tbr. It works great. This one goes to 125 yrds or so in bow mode tbr unlike the previous model that stopped at 60 yrds tbr in bow mode. You can borrow it next time I see you so you can try it out.
I have the tommy hogg.
I like the seven pin site that way I don't have to mess with it out to 80 yds.
I sight mine in with the 50 pin dead center of the large dial. that way you can see the center pin and either go up a pin or down quickly depending on the yardage. very simple this way to...
I would venture to say that many (if not most) cannot tell the difference in brace height (6.75 in vs 6 in) at the shot. bad form is bad form at the shot - the bow is a machine designed to do the same thing time after time.
i shot the Hoyt carbon turbo yesterday. 70 lb 29 inch draw. no "popping" sound for me. I thought the bow felt good in the hand and the cam felt very smooth to me with a solid back wall. I thought it handled great.
I called and spoke with their customer service rep this last Friday. First off, he was very professional and seemed to be a nice guy. He told me that the new stuff is supposed to be arriving in June. I asked him to put the new stuff online with pics and descriptions so that we could at least...
What MattB said. I was getting frustrated reading this thread. Glad to see that common sense prevailed. MattB always beats me to the punch on these things! Damn it.
Not really looking for more speed just the heaviest arrow I can shoot in the 285-300fps range.
Craig,
I have the Spyder Turbo in 80 lbs. the rkt cam has a smooth draw. I have a 29 inch draw and I shoot a 525 grain arrow. the speed through the chrono at the pro shop was 288 fps. I hope this...
watching the video with my young boys of Aron vs. the pack. my son asked what's he doing. I told him he was working and his job it to try and break the pack. "Dad, I want a job like that!"
