    Same here. Spare socks mostly for sleeping...or to swap if I get a waterlogged boot. If it comes down to it, leave spares in your truck or base camp should needs come up.

    Mirroring what TTE said...additionally, my local boot shop had them (no sale) cheaper than amazon/other places....$15-$17 per pair. It may be worth calling around to save a few dollars.

    Lowa Renegades - purchased from store owners who hunts in CO as well. + 1/2 size for not allowing your toes to smash the inside. Both hunting partners bought Lowa's after seeing my boots in the field. Only lesson learned is keep up on leather maintenance.

    Ya, worked out well. Fundamentally, I never take the harness off while in the field, so it's always available. I've had holsters on the belt of my packs, but that only works of your pack is on.

    Had my kydex guy rivet right to my eberlestock scout. I hunted with the top "holster" and liked it...but since have added a TLR and the trigger guard setup I was using wouldn't work anymore. Additionally, for ease of draw, I prefer the side draw vs top draw.
