I pulled the trigger, while it is light it doesn’t at all seem cheaply made to me, seems built very well just not out of iron, similar to the inreach mini.
What is your end goal, so many options with a .308 bullet and all the powders out there. Seems like you just want crap thrown at the wall and see what sticks.
215 bergers RL26 BR2 primers 2,963ft/s.
Just as a comparison I’m getting 2,963ft/s with the 215’s out of a 300wsm. I use LR primers and RL26. I would of expected over 3000ft/s with a 300prc pretty easy with the 215’s.
Is the MDT mechanism rock solid or does it have some movement? Sounds like the 1 way might be solid but the 2 way may have some movement. I have a folder mech on my XLR but it wasn’t from them and the play bugs me.
Bet those parents didn’t have the phones setup as kid lines with full parental control and only way to access changes etc is through the parents phone. No need for internet browsing which allows for a secondary way to get around SM access. It doesn’t take much to fully lock these down and then...
iPhone really allows parents as good of control as you can get, no social media is easy to stop, asking permission electronically for everything. Monitor screen time, apps, set what rating they can see and li it any adult related material.
