I wake up for some reason. In the mountains I take a dump immediately.
Then I drink the cold coffee I made the night before and go hunting. Around 8 or I sit down and eat a protein bar or two fun size milky way bars.

I build custom muzzleloaders. I recommend picking up a range rod from www.trackofthewolf.com it has a collar that keeps the rod centered in your barrel so you dont damage threads.

Exactly what mightymouse said..
You may as well toss some chains in there with the hi-lift.
You can use the hi lift as a winch or to build a road under your tires.
They are a bit dangerous, but damn handy when you are stuck

I shoot alot of broadheads. A friend and I trashed the matrix in a year. It isn't economic to replace as the replacement hexes cost more than the target. I'm better off buying an 18 and 1 every year.
That said I would like another matrix and ONLY shoot field points at it. It's nice for getting...
Its usually just tendons or connective tissues wrapped around the auger by the time I'm done. I toss it in the garbage.
Also I dont grind shank meat. Too many connective tissues to grind well.

Matrix is fine if you only shoot field points. It's big and the arrows pull out pretty easy. But they get tore up by broadheads just as fast as anything else. Replacing cells isn't really economical as you think. If you shoot alot of broadheads just buy a cheap block target. Thrash it and throw...
Another vote for blood Inside.
I would shoot it at a steel silloute or the arrow tree at the range if I was you. Doesn't sound worth the effort for a critter arrow.

If they either come apart or are a true two blade you can sharpen them like a chisel. If you dont have stones it can be done with progressively finer sandpaper on top of a sheet of glass. Some YouTube videos should put you on the right track.

In my experience with moose it is the best eating in meat in the deer family. Even the Fat was good while still warm.
For steaks you should never go past medium rare in my opinion. Smother it in sauteed mushrooms and dig in.

Snivel gear is one of those things....you finally break down and use a sleeping mat...next thing you know you are buying ultralight pillows and bringing extra socks

I guess we will see. Wouldn't be the first time I tried to half ass something and regret it immensely. I used to go out in below freezing temps with a 45 degree kelty, fill my nalgene with hot water and tough it out. I think I'll be happy with the Nemo but I'm becoming more of a bitch as I...
I can eat one every once in a while.
Heathers choice on the other hand turns my guts inside out. We tested them while hunting out of a tent campground. Everyone started using a different outhouse then me. Never again.

I'm not super impressed with hit this year.
They aren't bad bows if you know how to get them in time, but it isn't really much of an improvement over last year.
It pains me to say this, but the bowtech sr6 blows hoyt out of the water. I personally chronographed the bow tech and a 60 pound...
Some old drunk miner threatened to kill me one time. I just laughed and put my hand on the giant revolver I carried for bears(I was working). He informed me that he would kill me later. I was never very worried and am now pretty lazy about carrying. Which is why I'm going to get a pocket 380...
