    Single llama for packing

    We're getting a single guard llama for our alpacas. Since they are herd animals, is there any issue with using just 1 llama for packing? It'd be left at camp by itself which is my main concern.

    Ouch, not only the cost of the 43, but were you worried at all about legal stuff? I'd hate to report anything gun related to authorities, but I wouldn't want the cops showing up at my door cause whoever found it used it for a crime.

    Yeah I know Tarptent and SO is US, but I can't seem to find something like the Mountain Star that's made here. The non-hunting brands like Big Agnes are also made in China. I've used a nest in the Cimarron, I'm not a fan. Really looking for an enclosed floored tent to use when I'm by myself.
