Trying to decide between this and the 3200. Can't really see a reason to not go ahead and get the 4800 for when you need it. They both seem to pack down to almost the same size and weight difference is not much.
Did the same with the peloton 200 quarter zip last week in the cold and rain. Worked great at keeping the wind off me, and I just threw the rain jacket on when the skies opened.
We've put a ton of miles on our deuter kc3 this summer. Lots of storage, comfy and a good belt. Pretty durable so far as well. The rain/sun screen has gotten lots of use as well and is easy to deploy.
Panola mountain state park has an excellent range. Static and a 3d course with targets from 20-65. If no one else is on the static range you can stretch it out pretty far.
Not sure where you are in Alpharetta but it should be about an hour from you. It is right outside the perimeter on i20.
