    Great buck and what a memorable hunt! That's encouraging to see, the deer herd in the unit I hunt in UT was completely decimated this winter. I've never seen it so bad and it will be a long time before it recovers. Count your blessings folks.

    The buck I killed last season was this exact scenario; trigger sticks and took a knee, dead deer in sub 5 seconds. The whole thing was a blur, but solid as a rock as opposed to trying to freehand/sling shoot with a pack on and adrenaline.
