I dont have one but everything I've heard about them says that if you dont have to carry it far then it's a pretty sweet setup. I looked into them and personally couldn't find anyone who has negative things to say about them as long as your using them as intended.
If you dont like tight spaces...
Eberlestock makes a belt pouch that might work for you. I use it on my pack due to not having pals webbing on my belt. I wrap it around the belt and buckle it. So if you wanna slide it just keep it loose to fit your needs.

Interesting picks of a unique problem. This is essentially the exact reason for block management areas (usually in larger numbers) I could agree that this situation is cool until they start costing you your time and money. That's when land owners start calling f&g. Thanks for sharing

I have a brand new SO dst tarp for sale. I baught it about 2 weeks ago. The tarp has never been outside and has not been seam sealed. (Tube of sealer included) I've only taken it out of the stuff sack to look at craftsmanship. It's a great setup but after further thought I would just prefer...
Eric I assume. Thats pretty crazy. I only started watching last year so it was before my time. Interesting info though to say the least

For the most part just like anything else, you get what you pay for. If you usually shoot at a range with provided targets and will only use the block target occasionally as you said then a cheaper one will work but plan on buying at least one every year under that circumstance. If you spend the...

Kevin from SO did a video on cold weather shelter set ups. He suggested using screws with frozen ground I'm pretty sure. You can check the video out on YouTube or I think its probably on their website as well. For sure their youtub channel though.

I've always just used a broadhead wrench. If for some reason the fp or bh is still coming loose a bit of string wax should solve it.

I'm pretty much the same as everyone else. Only fire if I got cold or wet. Seems like everyone agrees that the smell of fire is not a deal breaker.

Yea I could see that for some areas and people. I grew up in the outdoors of Montana so as long as its legal to have in the area I know how to responsibly tend to one. When I say "some guys" I'm just talking people in general. Not friends. I personally have no problem with a fire while out...
For you guys that have been elk hunting from a camp for many years... fire or no fire during archery season? I've met some guys who say it doesn't matter and others who refuse to use a fire in archery season because of scent. What's your experience and/or opinion and why?
