Very interesting observations. I wonder why such drastic findings. But definitely appreciate all the input. Sounds like being mobile may be the best tactic till I find a tank with water.
Just a quick question that I can’t seem to find some info in other posts. Heading out first of the month for the first time in AZ, I’ll be targeting muleys. With this year’s lack of moisture am I safe to assume that it would be wise to hunt close to water even though there focused on the rut...
I’m curious if anyone has fabricated a nice spartan bipod holster that attaches to bino harness. I don’t want to pay 50 bucks for one that could be made for way cheaper. Just looking for ideas. I’m thinking of something that attaches to the molle on the side or maybe a more permanent attachment...
Go see izzie at hi line meats in Glasgow. He’s in the alley behind the gas station opposite from McDonald’s. Absolutely the best butcher you will find anywhere! Prices are awesome and he’s real quick. There’s also treasure trail in town, but they were closed on the opener this past year.
Bobr1 nailed it. Your exactly right about western mt and that’s what we’re trying to avoid. We do spend Almost a month every burst out on the east side of mt and I love it but it is pretty bare, people are great.
Thank you all for the input
Ooo believe me I totally agree. My plan is draw a 100 mile circle around every Costco and eliminate those areas. I have heard to many horror story’s about California folks and their money infiltrating great towns.
Ok boys I need some help. We’re done! We’re throwing in the towel and calling it quits in California. Me and the wife are absolutely fed up with the government, the bs restrictions and the knuckleheads that are so entitled. We’ve narrowed it down to Idaho, Montana and the wildcard is Texas. I...
Got a quick question. Just curious what kind of flip caps are you guys running on your scopes? I’m over using butler creek caps and them constantly self opening. Just want something better. Thanks.
let me start out by saying I am a vortex customer for life, not only because of their great products but because of their great customer service I have nothing bad to say at all.
I did have a pair of these but got rid of them after my latest Montana Hunt.
Cold weather definitely plays a huge...
Yes, the stock is the main difference, which in turn obviously adds a few ounces to the overall weight of the classic. Another difference is the Montana has a threaded barrel and this one does not. If it makes you fill any better, this classic has been to Montana 😉
