Access is mid-mountain and all the fresh sign and elk are below the trail.
Starting at the top in the mornings with thermals going down creates a challenge. Obviously, it’s not ideal but that’s where the access is and the quite elk are located.

I left mine at the bottom of a canyon and wasn’t going back in after it once I made it back to the top and realized I left it. I used one of the large water bottles (30oz ish), wrapped in gorilla tape to help tone it a bit.
