Q 1. Can a shot to the knee produce enough blood for a blood trail?
Q 2. Considering he lives in Arizona, was he hunting as a non-resident?

You need to contact the New Mexico game and fish. Your timing of the hunt may be an issue, with all licenses and otc tags expiring March 31 if not sooner. As far as hunting sheep in an otc unit, sure you can do it. Don't try to do this hunt solo, as most of the areas with sheep are very steep...
I have been looking all over the net, trying to find a rangefinder that has built in mil dot reticle. Can anyone point me in the right direction, if one is made.
