Honestly that looks like the carbon is starting to lift and separate. I would get ahold of Uukha before I drew that bow back again.
Curious, just based on where you quiver is, is that blemish or crack starting at the end of a wedge?
Hey can you share where you found that? It is difficult to find this kind of info on the website. Thanks, the rest of this isn’t directed at you specifically. (Edit)- I found that info in the same PDF I linked. You’re right it’s a combination. 2142 res, 877 non-res for antelope.
Here is a link...
I have a couple questions if you don’t mind. Do you have a flat ground on your wedges or are they straight tapers? Did you put any tip wedge in? Also are you using some heat tape instead of an oven?
I really like how the maple looks! Gonna look good!
I lived in Pueblo West for 3 years. In that time, one of my neighbors shot two cops then barricaded himself in his house. Cops turned out fine btw just a couple superficial graze wounds. Another time about a year later a guy got in to it with a cop at my daughters middle school ended up getting...
If you get in a pinch and are in the area a case of beer is cheaper at trailshead in sd than at buckhorn right on the border. But they both close fairly early. Buckhorn is a cool place to hang out though. If you venture to trailshead at night or come from deadwood watch out for elk crossing the...
Do you have a link to this? The only thing I could find is for possible changes to antlerless whitetail tags for archery and muzzleloader seasons. Also 8% of what, tags are unlimited for residents. My dad drew a hills WT tag, 2 points for a resident! Crazy
Edit to add, congrats to those that...
If you were trying to sign in from the old system you’re gonna have to set up a new account. I kept trying to sign in the old way a couple times after reading this thread and I got the same “site under maintenance”. Got my new login set up and couldn’t find the preference points either. I’m sure...
Another thanks! I didn’t know you could see that stuff in the app. I’ll admit I haven’t spent much time on it after I moved though. WR whitetail tags for the wife and I!
Can’t wait!
I can’t remember when the results will be posted, I briefly and I do mean briefly looked at the application and didn’t see when they’ll be posted. Should be around the beginning of July. To check you can log in and under your profile it will be in “view my application/licenses. Hope this helps
I would think so. I takes my bows 40-50 shots before I quit playing with the brace height. After I get my initial bh measurement I don’t measure it again until I have quite a few arrows through it. I adjust the string a turn or half turn a time. That’s what works for me.
Did you check your brace height, and what is the string material? I make my strings out of b55, after I stretch them it still takes quite a few shots to get the string where it needs to be. I’ve never used fast flight so I don’t know if it stretches at all or just significantly less.
Here’s something that has worked for me that I found out building a bow. I made a riser and stained it and didn’t like how it looked so I built a new riser and cut the limb angle a little different on the second one and ended up making the bow about 4 pounds heavier. I made wedges for my Palmer...
Haha I’ve been looking to build a pattern sander too. Also been toying with getting a drum sander as well. It’s really fun and addicting. I changed the design on mine and am building my wife a bow with that design. I’m hoping to get a little more speed. We’ll see though.
Thanks, I really like...
That looks awesome dude. I’ve built three sets of limbs using binghams and I swear the hardest part is cutting the string grooves.
I know it’s a little late for the op now but something I thought worked really nice was to cut a piece of 1/4 inch hardboard for the form and used my router with a...
Here’s a bull I killed in your hopeful unit last year. Not the biggest but I shot him at 5 yards, so that was pretty cool. Definitely saw bigger bulls. As others said there is a ton of people up there but between two different scouting trips and two trips up there in September my dad and I never...
When I was in 8th grade me and two other guys from my class drew H2 tags. One was a cow tag and myself and another guy had any elk tags. My first big game animal was a 330 bull from South Dakota haha. It was AWESOME! There was a lot of pissed off people though.
I think I made a boo boo posting a link. I did, my bad. But you can measure the top m2 molar > 1 1/8“= grizzly, black bear have less than 1 1/8“. I got it from the Yellowstone grizzly project, I don’t know what their view is on hunting, but that’s where I got the info. I got the tooth measuring...
