Yes the pointers can be move a little but not much so depends how far your off. May have to move the sight tape. Can’t wait for the Boonie so you can just adjust the wheel!!!
You might need to start over with the sighting in process. Set the scope as high on the rail as you can and find 20 yards by using The macro adjust bolt holes then start walking back to 60 using the sight in tape
How are they better?
I’m curious I’ve been shooting FE and based on what I’ve read I don’t find a big difference? But I’ve never seen a Hogg father in person.
Mine do the same thing. I have the EL ranges and they’re thicker than normal Binos the squeaking comes from them being tight. Haven’t figured out a solution yet I’m interested to see what you find out.
Bought one of these and it’s a good sight but I had issues with it keeping the 2nd axis setting without really cranking on the set screws but once I did that it held fine, I’ve gone back to my Spott Hogg FE just do to a larger sight picture. For some reason it is more pleasing to my old eye...
I just got home from a week in the mountains and my first few shots at 50 were about 4” high. Next round I really focused on my eye/peep alignment and fixed the problem. Not shooting for a week and putting on lots of miles things feel different. I’d check yourself first usually that’s my fix not...
The last 2 times I’ve replaced strings on my Mathew’s I’ve had to adjust top hats. Not sure why but I’d get a crazy tear and move my top hats and it’d clear it up.
I love the EZ fletch and have been using it for years. The only issue I’ve had is the excess glue so I’ve been having to clean it often, I just read a post about sticking masking tape on the arms and cutting a slot for the vanes so you you can just rip it off if it gets bad, can’t believe I...
Been using an evolution and a RX1 for years and kept my anxiety at bay by switching back and forth but ever since I found out my draw results I’ve been struggling a bit! So who knows which one will be with me!
I just got an Onnex and am getting used to using my thumb to pull through, which is...
I’ve shot Spott Hogg 7 deadly pin for probably 10 years until I got the fast Eddie, I never knew what I was missing, the sight picture is so nice without all those pins. When I’m hunting i Set my top pin for 30 and my second pin is 45 yards which covers me out to 50 before having to dial, figure...
