Man, glad you’re good brother. I had a mare mule come uncorked and throw me earlier this year, three cracked ribs and some compressed vertebrae. I was down for two weeks, my hats off to you!
Most definitely, I was out there 2 years ago archery hunting and was stalked by a mountain lion which I got within about 30yds of before it decided to go the opposite direction. Spooky experience for sure. Having a sidearm helped me feel a little better for sure.
I was on a scouting trip about 3yrs ago. There was a log across a rushing creek about 4 feet deep probably 10 feet below. It was a do it or get left behind sorta deal. I’d just as soon not do that again and look into other options!
I’m still kinda on the fence but I will say I have to agree with some of what I think he is trying to get at. More access would definitely be ok with me.
Jealous of all the talent on this thread. Just dipping my toes into knife making myself. Looks like I’ve got a long ways to go but definitely enjoy it.
My sympathies, got bucked off my mule about 8 weeks ago. Broke 3 ribs and messed up some vertebrae as well. Worst I’ve ever been hurt, just now getting back to shooting. Hope you heal up quick!
