    I'd recommend low and slow and you can do this in a smoker, grill or the oven. Smoke it if you can though! I like either post oak, hickory or mesquite in that order. The key is keeping the cooking temp between 200-225 until the meat hits the "stall or plateau" which is 165ish degrees. When...

    Can you show us a pic so we know for sure it's the point and not the flat? You'll cook with the same process but depending on how you want to eat it in the end will dictate the temp you remove it for the next step. Assuming you'll smoke it?
