I am heading out next week on my first Muzzleloader hunt in CO and had a question regarding "unloading" my rifle while in a motor vehicle. I am using a CVA Optima with blackhorn and 209 primers. I didn't plan on unloading the powder/bullet during the trip unless we get rained on or something...
I did get the jacket in and it seems to be well made. The sizing is pretty true, and the sizing and fit seemed pretty similar to the new Dew Point that I tried on recently in store. The pit vent zipper runs from the pocket all the way up to the arm and serves as the vent and pocket opening...
I am looking at picking up a rain jacket and came across the new BlackOvis Hailstone, but there isn't much info out there about it yet. Wondering if anyone had pulled the trigger on it and had any feedback? How does it compare to the other popular options, quality, fit, etc.?

For those that have done the elk101 university online course, I was wondering how long it takes to get through all the material? I saw there was 17 modules/38 chapters and looks pretty comprehensive so I am assuming it takes a pretty good while.
First time poster here. Looks like there is a lot of great information here, but thought I would see if anyone had specific recommendations for elk hunting resources, books, websites or apps that I should be checking out as a newbie.
