Weekend scouting.....time for growth still

I wonder how much more growth will occur between now and early august when they start to harden and rub off the velvet? So wet and so much feed up high......it shows in these bulls! Can't wait to go back and see what is on the game cams in 2 weeks.

Last night at home........

Did some glassing tonight

Peeked into a new spot a mile away.....had a decent bull pop out at 8pm.....within range of a spot I planned to set up in. Watched him for 20 mins but no other elk showed up. Could not tell how big he was with just 10x42s but definitely looked like a shooter. Just being able to see he has...

Coffee Pot Road current conditions GMU 34/25

I roll up Coffee Pot Road next Thurs morning to get back past Deep Lake Campground for our cow elk Muzzleloader trip. Anyone been up there recently? Condition of the road surface? Wet or dry up there lately? Temps? Thanks! Jordan
