    Agreed. I would primarily a deer rifle but i hunt in a unit were elk is open at the same time. I just want a low recoil rifle that can take and elk.

    Yup. I have found Wednesday and Thursday are the best days to be out. They talk a little better but not like they should.

    I had a bull bulging at 70 yards Friday. Then seen a rag horn this morning i bugled at him but he just walked away. I think the wolves have them held up a little bit.

    How are they bugling where you hunt. I am up by Kellogg Idaho and I haven't heard much. I have hunted since Friday pretty hard and heard to bugles. Is it just where I am or not?
