Modifying LPVO to meet 1x scope requirements

I was looking at their 9000L with the 2 MOA dot. If it was 1MOA I’d be tempted.

I emailed them, I’ll post what they say.

Modifying LPVO to meet 1x scope requirements

Yeah that’s what I was thinking as well. I’ll call them later.

Modifying LPVO to meet 1x scope requirements

Looks like the raptor reticle is only available in the magnified models. There is some more simple bdc reticle available though in their 1x models. Just trying to find where they specify the measurements of the reticles so I can know how useful they’ll be with the muzzy.

Modifying LPVO to meet 1x scope requirements

Anything’s better than the 2.5 MOA duplex the vortex crossfire has. Thank you

Modifying LPVO to meet 1x scope requirements

Is the CQB reticle the one you’re referring to?

Modifying LPVO to meet 1x scope requirements

Damn, they’re not too expensive either! I think I’ll give one a go.

Modifying LPVO to meet 1x scope requirements

I guess I’ll have to look into red dots more and test one out before I jump into this route. I have been against using one but in all honesty I know nothing about them and should probably use one before I denounce it.

    Carrying Turkey decoy ideas

I stitched 2 loops into single decoy bags for my Dave smith and replica decoys. I strap one onto each side of my pack. I also have a reckoning for my kifaru and I can fit 2 decoys inside of it. Both options work well for me.

I’m sure they’ll be gone soon.

Modifying LPVO to meet 1x scope requirements

w It literally came back into stock this morning.

Modifying LPVO to meet 1x scope requirements

I’m not worried about it. As it is right now no 1x scope is available commercially. The remaining $150 crossfires are on eBay for $400.

Modifying LPVO to meet 1x scope requirements

If I go this route I’ll get it approved before I use it. I see no reason it wouldn’t be legal. Non telescopic is non telescopic.

Modifying LPVO to meet 1x scope requirements

To have a turret to dial for further shots or at least a MOA reticle. There’s turret peep sights but for the amount they cost I’d prefer this route.

Modifying LPVO to meet 1x scope requirements

The aimpoimt 9000l seems like a decent option for a red dot but I’m still not sure how I feel on depending on an electronic device. Also worried about the illuminated dot for super bright days and making precise aim on the 100-175 yard shots.

Modifying LPVO to meet 1x scope requirements

I’ve had enough leupold scopes fail me that I won’t trust them anymore. Especially since red dots already have more risk as it is depending on illumination to function. The way they mount is super unnatural for me to look through as well.

Modifying LPVO to meet 1x scope requirements

Thanks I’ll take a look at the primary arms. I’ve seen your comments in another post stating you had good luck with crossfire and it gave me the confidence to at least try one. I wish it had some kind of MOA hash mark or mil dot system at least.

Modifying LPVO to meet 1x scope requirements

Worse case scenario I bring it to DWR and have a game warden inspect it and he says no and then I have a shot gun scope. If they say yes I’ll get written documentation as well as a verbal recording. I’ve had to similar with laws in Idaho a few times. By my reading of it it’d be legal because...

Modifying LPVO to meet 1x scope requirements

That’s along the lines of what I was thinking with way better execution. I’m not worried at all about the value at all considering this is all it’ll be used for and I have no intention in selling it. I’m not interested in a red dot. The only model I know of with a dial is made by leupold and...

Modifying LPVO to meet 1x scope requirements

If it cannot telescope then it is not a telescopic sight, by definition.
