WTB Left hand, Ultralight 7mm Rem mag (or 300 w m)

I'm a Kiwi coming to Idaho this Sept for an Archery Elk hunt and would like to take home a new or used rifle with or without a scope. I'd prefer a 7mm mag as I have a lot of 7mm ammo, but would be interested in the right 300. My budget is a little tight though! I've been looking around various...

Hunting banned in NZ

The NZ Govt has just announced that hunters are not permitted to hunt public land in New Zealand. No fishing either. Everyone is advised to stay at home unless shopping for necessities. Strangely, it is still OK to go for a walk if you keep away from others. It probably won't stop some hunters...

Idaho OTC

What time on December 1st can non residents apply online for OTC tags? I can't find a time on the ID F&G website. And I believe I must first buy a licence before applying for the tag, but at present only licences for 2019 appear to be available. When can I buy a licence for 2020? Cheers.

Grizzly Precautions.

Hi all. First post. Love the site. I'm a New Zealander thinking of doing an OTC ,solo, archery elk hunt in Idaho in 2020. I'm doing as much research as possible into suitable units for me....I have plenty of experience hunting in general, including solo backpack hunts, but we don't have bears...
