I wanted to like the crosshairs, but after shooting both crosshairs and the fiber optic, the fiber is the way to go. It would be nice if they could add a second fiber similar to an archery sight for a second yardage. That is why I wanted the crosshair.
A couple small allens that fit sight/rest and a piece of d-loop, and sometimes an extra bh or two.
6 arrows in quiver, 5bh, 1 small game
If there are grouse around, a couple extra arrows in pack with small game heads, bh stowed away.
If anything major happens, I'm just coming out to get things...
They're not going to help if the creek is above your short hiking boot and you have more than a quick step. They are nicer than rubber boots on the cold mornings with wet dew and tall grass, followed by a warm-up. As soon as the dew burns off I can pull them off and a short hiking boot is a...
If you want to hunt everything you have to apply for everything.
Certainly, Wyoming MSG is a 0% game for most, but at least other states that are in the %0.1 range for sheep etc usually have different species that combined make it worth applying for, UT comes to mind. And if you want to hunt...
I have fixed closest to me, usually three, then a small game head, then a couple mechs. A couple extra arrows in pack with small game heads on and a couple extra broadheads stowed away.
It gets worse when you throw in a deer tag too. I had all three last year, but all three only overlapped for one unit, even though individually they are each good for multiple units...
Agree, that fact is probably adding to the decline.
We had a great time in MT in 2021, but haven't been back cause it's harder to plan with there 60% draw at 0 point and 0% draw at 1 point. I don't want to waste money buying pp just to guarantee draw at 3pts. CO is easier to plan, cheaper...
I'm 99% sure...
Actually stopped by the store while we were in Vegas and picked up a few things and they threw it in for free, so I don't have an order history to check.
I think it should be required depending on the type of hunt/season/terrain. In general, don't think it should be required for most seasons.
Hunting muzzy elk in NM, we're not wearing it cause it's not required, tags are limited, hunter density is low and the terrain doesn't seem like there...
I've been practicing more and more with them, but years ago I wouldn't put one on until a couple weeks before season. Target and broadhead wear I'd say is the main reason.
I'm not following why you would have to spend $200 and retune? Which heads do you shoot? You could Just pick up a cheapo...
Like brn2hnt mention, you can give them levels of access typically. I did most of it myself, and only needed a couple things done. It wasn't too difficult with all of the templates they have now. You can also filter to find only people in the US and english speaking.
Upwork and Fiver have contract-type jobs for various skills, data entry, virtual assistance, etc. You bid on the jobs you want. I've never done work through them, but I've used people on there for graphic design, website building, etc.
