I have worn my Hoffman caulk boots for logging work and then just taken the caulks out for hunting for the last 4 years and been happy with them. They are 100% leather and will last a long time if you oil them up every now and then.
I’ve been a subscriber for a couple years and probably won’t resub next year. I just don’t hunt enough out of state to make it worthwhile. Maybe in a few years when I can hunt 3+ states per year.
I just bought the RMEF Alps Outdoorz bino harness. It is a good low priced option that leaves plenty of room for a separate chest holster for your sidearm.
I have been on the fence about upgrading my pack... this may be the year I drop the big bucks and buy a Kifaru. I met Aron at the Bowtech factory in Eugene last weekend and he was super cool, showed me how nice a real pack and frame can feel.
