    Turkey leg recipe?

I've thought about grinding a breast before, but that's just disrespectful! Cube it, marinade it, wrap it, grill it. Or cube and fry it. Legs go in the crockpot.

Charleston, SC—things to do & see?

Papa Bear Charters, out of Hilton Head. Captain Michael Perry. Buddy of mine and he catches em Only other thing that hasn't been said. You can eat low country shrimp and grits for every meal and never get tired of it, at least I can't. You'll never eat any, anywhere in the country, that comes...

    Squirrel Dogs

I always liked hunting over a cur, but have a few buddies that have gotten into Treeing Feists. It's just a long legged Fiest, but papers have them listed as "Treeing". Great little dogs.

    fish recipes

Learned this on the ocean a long time ago and do it now with bluegill, crappie, bass. Butter a regular glass eating plate. Spice butter however you want. Add dried off filets to cover the plate. Butter top of fish. Spice on top of that. 1 minute(90 seconds if thicker filets) in the microwave or...

Close distance shots with extra full chokes

I argue with a buddy about this all the time. He's so nerded out on pellet counts that he can't understand the whole dead is dead thing

    Attracting turkeys

I'd be looking at improving habitat, vs throwing out a few bait piles. 9 times out of 10, it all looks great until they get into their spring mode and relocate to the next farm(s) over. They don't care what food you have, if it's not where they need/want to be.

    What age is this buck

I'd bet the bank on him being a fully mature deer with a less that stellar set of headgear. 2 and 3 year olds don't have that kind of body on them.

Extended warranty on a used vehicle

Thanks for writing all that, so I didn't have to. lol. I'll also add... be mindful of what the loan to value is when you buy a vehicle. You don't want it too high right off the bat, before adding warranty and other service contracts. Also keep in mind, a lot/most of the dealers are doubling or...

    Illinois goose hunt

Not Illinois, but I'd look up Mitch Hughes in Maryland if I wanted a guided goose hunt in the Eastern US. Prairie Rock Outfitters in Nebraska would also be a great choice.

    Favorite Sign

Early when acorns are just starting to fall, I'll listen for the hottest trees and check them for turds. If its a hot tree, you'll almost always jump deer nearby. Figure out the wind, and hunt it. Later on, I'll look for fresh rubs/scrapes near thickets and food(acorns). Figure out the...
