Son has a bull elk hunt this December and I want to set him up with a good 150gr bullet for his Remington 700, I'm limited to factory ammo at this point.
I am finding precious little that is actually available for sale in 150gr. One thing I do see is a fair amount of Sig Elite with 150gr...
Bought these by mistake, can't use them. They look brand new, nary a mark on them. Not 100% sure of TPS model but based on measurements and appearance I'm 95+% sure they are "Super low". Made of steel.

they’re good, not as packable or as light as down but tough and worth having. Cheap. Beware the sizing, medium is huge since they’re sized to fit over everything.
It may be low on the list of Arizona grievances but why oh why doesn’t the random “1-2” come before preference “bonus” pass so that the first choice is actually that? I guess that’s how the intern coded it way back when?? And why don’t the names make any sense.. Confuses the hell out of everyone
How many points did you have? I thought a low tag number meant you drew in the bonus pass, so you should know which hunt you drew if you only had enough points for second choice.
Unless you had enough points for both, then continue suspending…
824 is awesome. I’d carry the extra weight over my 634 for the rigidity. That’s the best deal in tripods that I’m aware of; I’m surprised they haven’t sold out of them yet.
Got back from about a week in the field with both the Maven B5 18s and the Cabelas branded Meopta Meostar HD 1.1 15s. Both were used on Outdoorsman pistol grip and tall bino adaptors, with the appropriate adaptor studs. Both were used interchangeably on Slik 634 and 824 tripods as shown below...
