This is true. I have the cds scope but I haven't had my turret made yet. Just using the regular dial. It's all the same. Just put together a dope chart and make some marks on your dial. -

I've got a cds this year. So much easier than using a bdc scope imo. Less room for error. Zoom doesn't effect dialing like it does on BDC scopes. I've used it confidently out to 300. I could probably shoot further too. -

Euro Mount and Velvet question
I shot a buck in full velvet this year. Still spongey. Planning on doing a euro myself. What I've seen and recommend in your case. I'd buy some Velvet cure or I've seen people use acetone or denatured alcohol. What I gather is those chemicals essentially "dry" the velvet, pulling the moisture... -

Took my velvet buck in to the taxi for a euro. Said 450 bucks... Seems a bit steep to me. Anyone out there have any velvet bucks euro'd and what was the price? 2021 California Bear
I've only hunted bears in california d3-5 a couple times. No luck. I moved to Montana and hunt spring bear here. I've always had great success watching hillsides as rain moves in and always catch movement as the storm get heavy. So essentially I'll hunt foggy days with rain anticipated and wait... -
