I’ve worn these pants from archery hunting in pa wv and Ohio to backcountry hunts in Wyoming. And Montana . They are freaking awesome and super comfortable , they dry super quick as well! As for the pilling who cares they are hunting pants in my eyes I don’t think the animal is gonna judge me ...
I spiked out in mine a 2 seasons ago in Wyoming. It was my first time going floorles.. while it was awesome the condensation irritated me in the mornings, however it was probably the way I set it up and or lack of experience with it. But man that thing was incredibly roomy !!
Don’t forget to add the topic of condensation …. I ran the argali in Wyoming for 5 nights in September and the condensation was pretty bad. Not sure if it was just me/ setup or if that’s just the way single wall floorless tents are but I was not a fan of brushing against the inside and getting...

I had the argali rincon in Wyoming it was nice just not for me, I don’t camp enough to mess with how to get rid of all the condensation. So this year for Idaho and when I’m out west I wanna just stick with this xmid I think.
Anyone running the xmid 2 p for spike tent ? I had the 1p a few years back and just felt crammed in there. Was considering the 2 but after discussing with Dan I’m not sure now !
