Hi. I am looking to sell my MR Sawtooth 45. It is a M/L belt. The pack is used and has hauled meat however it is in great condition. There is some fuzzing on the belt from my kifaru gun bearer. Also included is a matching daypack lid and a blaze stick-it accessory. I am looking for $350...
I would get something in the 3-15×44 +/- flavor and call it a day. That will likely be the most scope you would ever need out of a 30-06. I know leupold get bashed alot here however I have hunted hard with my vx5 over the last 2 years. Every year I dial up and down at the range and everything...
Great job! That is a nice color!
It's tough to judge from those photos for me. I would suspect 250+ for sure. Old one? The tooth color has me wondering.
I am from the PA and everything is by pounds out here so I don't speak square numbers like everyone else does however a montana biologist...
Top notch stuff here! I fortunately live close by and got to do the tour. The staff was great and everything was clean and well organized.

I did it in my nissan frontier with a 5' bed. I do have a topper on the back and trailer hitch that held a giant cooler. Me, my gear, wall tent, elk, elk head, and 2 buddies gear (they flew).

I have the same gun. It's a tack driver. I think we have the same issue with the bolt. It's so light that even the slightest movement will taken it out of battery. The trigger will still "click" however the round doesn't fire. Actually cost my son the first 2 deer he ever shot at since we were...
I shot a montana bear and ground all the meat up. It was much better tasting than any deer meat that I ground up. I wouldn't hesitate packing it out.

I forget the chaps name however there was a replacement spring that was being sold online that could get your trigger under 4#. I did it on mine and it was an easy swap.

For me it seems that many beginners bows have previous flagship technology. Could be worth saving a buck or 2. If it was good then, it is good now.

I am trying anthracite coal next time. My plan is to get a wood fire started and have coals. Near bed time I plan to add the coal. Now I truck camp so that makes this possible.

Tough call. Many people do pay guides to go onto the same public land you may hunt and still do not see anything.
From experience--I would have $1k in your back pocket if you are successful especially on the last day (packer if shot deep, butcher if you have to rush home, and a night in a...
I try to do this for atleast one meal when I go on trips so I have a guaranteed meal. My favorite is pork loin, sauerkraut, and perogies. I cook the loin in the pressure cooker so it breaks down easily and throw some granny Smith apple slices in too. I will just stick the bag in my wall tent...
Ruger m77 mkii in 30-06. I found my best load after approximately 28 years of ownership--180 grain accubonds and a max charge of imr4350. I will use this round for anything from Antelope on up. If I was to get another gun, that's at least 1 out of state hunt I can't go on $ wise.

I was always a 165 grain accubond fan until I couldn't find them during the pandemic. I found some 180 grain accubonds and am thankful I did! I went from .75 average to .25moa. I have no experience with monos and realize I may have to someday if lead bans become more common. Otherwise that the...
