    Calling small/medium business owners

Lot of people got crushed in 2001 too. Oh and I think 2020 might have been tough on a few people also. Plan on unexpected downturns. They really aren’t all that unexpected.

    Calling small/medium business owners

I had a buddy that did a 5 year retail Space lease in 2007 in AZ. He opened a flooring business. He was in an area that was growing like crazy. He was doing pretty good right off the bat. Far from killing it but making a little money and paying all his bills. Come 2009 he can’t sell enough...

    Calling small/medium business owners

Getting a loan is a horrible idea. Think of it this way. You are borrowing money at a percentage rate and betting that you can achieve better results than the percentage rate. If you don’t hit it out off the park you will file bankruptcy. If you would like to meet people that have tried this...

    Calling small/medium business owners

What this guy said. Being successful is very difficult. Being adsentee and successful is very long odds. It would typically look like this. I have owned the business for 30 years and have a team of 50+ employees that have been involved for at least 10+ years. Then you can take time away for...

    Business owners

Sold my fire protection business in 2021 at the age of 50. Will never need to work again. Last year in business I took 12 weeks off and my business flourished while I was gone. A lot of business owners own their own job. It works for them because of the flexibility. For me a business was a...

    BC goat outfitter recommendations

I am looking to find outfitters that have great odds of shooting a big Billy. It looks like BC is the place to go if you are looking to shoot a big Billy. I have seen Bob Milligan mentioned a few times. Are there any other good outfits that can produce great Billy’s that someone could...

What cartridge for first rifle build?

For you application you don't need a custom gun. Yours does just fine. If you want to shoot a long ways or shoot really tight groups it helps to have a custom gun. There is nothing wrong with having a deer rifle that kills stuff.

    Sold New Garmin Inreach Mini

might be the greatest tool in the chest. Match this up with your phone and earthmate software for easy use. I love mine. I think it costs me about $14 per month and you can turn it on and off as needed. So worth the money.

What cartridge for first rifle build?

Exactly. Sell all three and have an awesome custom that shoots better than those. I convinced my buddy to do that after he shot my gun and couldn't believe the difference. I just asked him if he liked his 30-06, 7mm and 270......or would he rather have my gun. He sold his very nice...

Help with choosing components for new 300

So I have a few deal breakers depending on the application. I believe you said back country. If the gun is going to be put on a pack and you are going to be climbing mountains then a locking bolt is a must have. That is a deal breaker for me. I had a bold come out of a gun one time that...

What cartridge for first rifle build?

The cartridge choice is really almost irrelevant in your case. There is little difference between most hunting cartridges. They all shoot a chunk of lead at a pretty good speed and kill stuff. If you are looking at 500 yards and under then a .308 will do fine on any animal you will shoot...

Just bought Kimber Mountain Ascent 6.5 - what ammo worked best in your mountain ascent?

I owned a mountain ascent in .308. I could not get that gun to shoot an MOA group. Most of the time I struggled to get that gun to shoot a 2 inch group at 100 yards. I even did hand loads and couldn't get it to shoot strait. My buddy also bought the same gun about the same time. I shot...

    Terminus Mountain outfitters, BC.?

So here is my advice.......I'm not sure I would be all excited about giving a large sum of cash to a business that is going through its second year of zero income. This COVID thing has to be crushing outfitters and some of them have to be in very difficult times financially right now. I'm...

    Idaho new system glitch

I feel for the guy that got the email. He handled it better than I would have for sure.

Budding sheep hunter looking for help

Go find someone that sheep hunts or is looking for someone to drag along and carry stuff for them. Offer to help. Even if you aren't hunting it would be great experience to go along with someone that will show you the ropes a bit. You will learn a ton.

Rifle weight. Is it worth it?

Here is my two pennies. I've shot really light guns and I haven't had one shoot accurate enough for my liking. Seems like a 7# gun is about as light as I can go and still have good accuracy. I shoot quite a bit and reload and I feel that my Tikka is a 600 yard gun at 7#. It isn't easy to...

    How steep is too steep

FWIW - it never gets easier when you get there in person. I've had more than a few talks with myself about choices I made looking at google earth and maps. Those talks never resulted in me telling myself "what a great idea this was". Though frequently the talks end with "I'll never do...

    Sheep Rifle Project

Can you get the custom turret on that scope? I got one on my swaro 3.5X18 and love it. It only goes out to about 700 yards or so but that is probably more than enough for a mountain rifle.
