Wall tent guidance

I just used a Davis tent in Colorado and would highly recommend it. With a stove in there it definitely keeps it plenty warm. I’m not sure what size we had but we fit 7 cots, a table, bags, and the stove with room to spare

Next spotting scope suggestions

If you’re not looking to spend a lot there’s always the razor 11-33x50 but I’m not sure it would do that well in low light because of the small objective. Another spotter to consider is the vanguard hd series. We’ve compared the 85mm vanguard to the meopta meopro and it held up really well...

DIY 1 man tent/bivy

It’s made out of nylon ripstop. I had designed it to be a little bigger but it still works great.

It weighs about 1.2 pounds with the tent, cord, stakes, and carrying bag. The floor is 88 inches long, the width of the end is 22 inches, the width of the top is 32 inches, and the highest point is about 20 inches.

I decided that I wanted to cut down on the weight of my sleep system so I designed this tent and ordered all of the materials online and then went on and made it. We'll see how it holds up this season.
