I've been in the "guaranteed draw" according to gohunt and toprut the past 2 years for the unit I want to draw in AZ, but each year it's taken one more point than i have to draw due to point creep. So even if you think you have enough points to draw it, it's likely one more.
I believe it. They're just few and far between. I think we're going to see a lot more big bulls this year out of the lesser producing units with all the moisture we've had. Especially if we continue with this wet spring and get decent monsoons.
You better be scouting 30+ days if you expect to get a 330 bull in 6a. Few and far between. I wish you luck though. That would be a special elk in that unit.
Yep. Had a tag number on either my dad's portal or mine this weekend. Can't remember which now and they both state no tag. It's not surprising considering how terrible azgfd is at their job in pretty much ever aspect. I know we got hit, what unit, etc. Early archery cow tag 7e. Just don't know...
I have been debating starting a different thread to address this but it fits in here so I'll start here and see if it warrants a new thread.
We had a huge problem in Arizona with a lot of NR coming to hunt our very gracious OTC archery hunt. Before this year there was no limit on tags, and the...
My 3rd car is an 05 V8 4runner. Have had it since it had 120k miles in 2018. At 220k now and haven't had any problems with it except general maintenance. Drove it from AZ to Alaska and back twice. Have a 3 inch lift on it and 33's and it'll go about anywhere I'm comfortable going, can pull 7500...
34/70.
I had my entire shoulder/scapula rebuilt about a year before I started bow hunting. Once I purchased my bow, I had to have it set to 48 pounds and over about 6 months of shooting every day got to 70. Practice a lot before this upcoming season and you'll be fine.
I'm really intrigued by the new Option Archery canyon pounder sight. Looks pretty sweet, and with the single and 2/4 pin fixed seems like a fairly cool idea for people that want a slider for 3d and fixed for out hunting. Will likely be my next sight...
Personally I'd sous vide it. Can't think it'd turn out like anything but rubber if you smoked it or did it in the oven. For a brisket consistency I'd do 165/24 hours.
I've had a set of the Pinnacles for 3 years now. They've been great, comfortable. Soft soles as mentioned above. The rocks can really eat them up. But besides that I've had no complaints. I didn't even need to break them in. Just threw them on and went out. Red wings fit me the best out of all...
