    Who uses a 6.5x284 for a hunting rifle? I keep kicking it around. I would mostly use 130 AB bullets as I have a bunch of them. Tell me what you like and or don't like about the caliber?

    I didn’t run velocities until I had my load worked, yes kinda backwards but I always have to barrow one. I only ran it when I decided on R26. I’m pushing the 160 AB or BT at 3065 with rem 9.5 mag primers and 60grs of R26. All 3 powders shot extremely well. You can go wrong with any of them...

    R23 and IMR 7828ssc are both very accurate in my gun. Currently shooting R26, the 7828ssc is my back up powder. Shooting 160 AB and BTs.

    Hey all you 260 AI shooters, I think I'm going do one of these in a remage barrel, I don't have a ton of funds toward the project, are the Redding 2 piece set dies good enough? I sure hope so, the others are the nearly the cost of a gun😆

    Fire forming isn't horrible, I had do it for my 280 AI when first starting shooting it. But it can get old. Nothing wrong with the 243 I just love the option of a bigger pill..

    Pharm, I do love the 7-08, i have some great 140 and 150 class bullets and your favorite powder too "Big Game" What twist would you put in the barrel? 1-9? I doubt id ever shoot anything bigger than a 150. I have some 150 sciroccos that might work well.
