EDIT: $1,800
I’m selling my Swarovski EL 8.5x42 binos. Just got them in June, they are in perfect condition and I only hunted with them a handful of times. These are excellent glass, and really are fantastic.
Only reason for selling is that I got a pair of the NL Pure. I’m asking $2,000 obo...
Saw my first set of gas strings at my local shop the other day. They looked like garbage with all the color bleed on the white strand. They told me that was the 3rd set they had gotten like that. No way I’d put what I saw on my bow. Also one was still in the package unopened it was that apparent.
I had a pair of zeiss conquest 10x42 and loved them. Low light was where they shined to me. I sold them only because of upgrading to a pair of Swaro EL’s. I’ve not looked through the others you mentioned however.
Thanks for all the input guys, I think I’m going to go forward with the 8.5’s and either do a 15x56 bino or a spotter for when I go out west again. I do want the best low light I can get for here in the east when those big bucks are hanging just inside the tree line at dawn and dusk.
Ok guys I’m looking at either 8.5 or 10x42 EL and I’m on the fence on which to get. I’m an eastern hunter so whitetail woods I know either will work. Be always had 10x because I think more power is better. I’ve hunted elk once and these will probably go on an elk hunt in the future.
Has anyone...
Mine came in first of March and I really like it. Back wall is solid, holds well, and very quiet. Draw runs 1/2 in long as most Mathews do. I found the draw cycle to be much better than the Vertix.
Yeah I carried it in every Thursday evening to Sunday. By Friday afternoon the first week deer were all over it. I sat and watched them and got them on camera then by 2 or 3 weeks later most all activity was at night. I didn’t put out corn the next season and like manic they were there during...
Hate to break it to you but you’re wrong. When it first became legal I jumped on the bandwagon. I only took corn in when I hunted. Now hunting the same spot all weekend for deer for Years, I saw deer 90% of sits. After 3 weeks of putting corn out that first legal season it went down to almost...
go dump out some corn in South Georgia and have fun killing “easy” deer lol. In my experience the more they’re baited the more they become nocturnal. I live when ppl from places where baiting is illegal y’all about about how much easier it makes it.
