    Amazon has several that are wifi and pair with an app on your phone. Get one that’s quality, the first freezer alarm I got wasn’t strong enough to reach the wifi signal from inside my freezer in the garage.

    Not the quoted post but I’m a fan of the setup. For elk specifically, I’d stick with just a bipod unless I was already packing my tripod.     Elk season last year- After driving 14 hrs from Texas to Colorado and staying up until 1am drinking beers with a buddy, I shot my first archery elk at 8am on morning 1 of our 9 day hunt. Have shot 2 turkeys within a few seconds of their feet hitting the ground.

    Have hunted them for many years in Texas, free-ranging. Absolutely a blast to spot and stalk during the summer rut. Not quite as tasty as elk but absolutely blow whitetail out of the water as far as flavor. We sell a few hunts each year to help cover some expenses.

    This was on private in Texas and beat dragging the deer 300ish yards to the road. Wouldn’t do this on public and have always put orange on the antlers when packing on public.
