Better way to pack sleeping bag?

You know if you buy a bigger bag you can still keep the smaller one for day trips. They are easy to swap.

Agencies announce decision to restore grizzly bears to North Cascades. I guess this makes it official

I don't think they would determine any suitable habitat for them in CO. They have said that the Big Horns is not suitable habitat and they don't want them there after that one they killed over there.

    NXS 2.5-10x42 or Credo 2.5-15x42

I had an NXS on one of my rifles but moved it to my ML after getting the Credo. Now I have a Credo on both my rifles. I like the center dot reticle too.

    Black Ovis Merino Boxers

Never tried the FL but I only have the Black Ovis boxers now. I like them. The last ones I ordered were more comfortable than the previous ones, more room, not as tight in the thigh. They must have changed the design.

Taking Equity out of Home OP spoke to me - now, me too!

I saw rates under 7 online but you are probably correct. I guess there will be fees as well. So you would probably pay the same or maybe save a few grand at most. You would just get to go a couple years earlier and if health or age was a concern that may be a big benefit. Still doesn't look like...

Taking Equity out of Home OP spoke to me - now, me too!

If you borrowed $50K today on a 10 year term at 6% and made a $1000 a month payment you would have it paid off in about 5 years. You will have paid about $57k for the hunt. So, you can book and pay for the hunt now with borrowed money and pay $57K or save up and pay $65K. Not sure that borrowing...

Pack that has performed well for you in the Backcountry?

I don't know what you are hoping to hear that hasn't already been posted on the 1000 other pack threads. People are different and like different packs for different reasons. I think every company has a return policy so buy a few and try them.

Taking Equity out of Home OP spoke to me - now, me too!

If someone offered me 25k and said I could keep it or spend it on a trip with my dad it wouldn't take me a nanosecond to decide that I'm taking my pops hunting.

    Kitchen renovation appliances

We moved into our home about 7 years ago and got LG appliances. Last year the stove and fridge died. It was actually the 3rd time the stove broke but I fixed it the first 2 times. Unfortunately, we got the LG black stainless so we had to get new LGs to match. So my tip is don't buy a fancy brand...
