I have for sale my Vortex Razors 12x50 binoculars I bought about a year ago new. Will trade for a good quality spotting scope and I will add cash to the deal is it is something high end I want. Prefer a Vortex Razor spotting scope but I’ll consider all, no low end glass please. These come with...
I’m not that young, just always used vacuum sealers. Just wanted to share some good results I had. Good thing we are blessed to have older wiser members such as yourself to keep us youngsters in check.
So I saw a video a while back that showed Steve Rinella not using a vacuum sealer but instead wrapping meat in plastic wrap followed by freezer paper. I’m guessing this was before he picked up the sponsor from Weston. Anyway, so we are eating everything in our deep freezer right now, including...
I use google earth pro on my desk top and it works great for looking up historical satellite photos but they do not have a smart phone version of google earth pro. Does anyone have any other options for iPhone or iPad so I can look up historical photos of potential hunting areas?
Yeah, pretty much. The only other thing with the Zeiss I didn’t like was that eclipse thing going on. I ordered bigger eye cups to help to stop it but I still didn’t like it. Like you said, it’s whatever your eyes prefer.
I own or have owned Binos: vortex razor, Zeiss conquest, leupold bx-5 and Swarovski slc. The 8x42 slc is on another level. Almost to the point it looks like someone turned the lights on brighter. It doesn’t even make sense how clear and bright they are.
I don’t use ozonics but I did build an ozone closet and tote for my boots and first outer layer. I am very convinced ozone reduces your scent profile but nothing can eliminate it. It can make smelly boots and clothes not smell. I think people who spent all the money on ozonics convince...
Your going to make me buy 15 slc’s lol. I listened to a lot of PA old timers for a while telling me you don’t need optics in the big woods. I bought a pair of 8x42 slc’s a few back and have been kicking myself in the butt ever since for not doing it sooner. What a difference.
So I run some slc 8x42 for hunting and 12x50 razors in my bag if I want to glass around. This is for east coast whitetail hunting, big woods, fields, marshes only. IMO there is not a huge difference in magnification between the two. It’s there but not huge. I’m thinking of replacing the 12’s...
That’s great info, thanks. I’m going to order some tonight to try out. How did you find yourself tuning them? Just moving sight or the rest? I have heard some guys saying the have to yoke tune these, I guess whatever works.
That’s interesting, I watched the born and raised outdoors guys on YouTube shoot them out of a spot hogg hooter shooter and they were in the top 3 for accuracy. I’m guessing arrow and fletching style can change results also.
Anyone out there try the evo X out for accuracy? Not much info out, I have read the original evo x have excellent reviews. wondering if the x series are the same.
