    Colorado wolves released today

Agreed, I don’t hate wolves, I hate ballot biology!! Wolf reintroduction never should’ve been decided by votes. There have been wolves in CO for a while. Now they’re just throwing gasoline on the fire.

    Colorado wolves released today

Have lived in Colorado my whole life. Used to be proud to say I was from here, now it’s embarrassing. This state continues to circle the toilet bowl for many reasons. Grew up in grand county and know a lot of ranchers that will gladly take matters into their own hands with the wolves.

Going archery elk hunting during muzzleloader week?

I’m a resident and hunted archery my whole life till 3 years ago, need a shoulder replacement and am to young to get one, can no longer draw a bow back. I switched to muzzleloader so I could still enjoy the September woods and have those close encounters. The last two elk I’ve shot with a muzzy...

Anyone else have those songs that take you back to hunts?

Hunting with my dad when I was younger if Mary Chapin Carpenter’s “ I feel lucky” came on the radio on our way to hunt we had a little extra excitement thinking we’d be lucky. Good memories

    Nut Allergies

My son has a severe peanut allergy. I agree with all above, don’t try any new foods out in the middle of no where, my son has ate numerous things that on the ingredients don’t say anything about peanut ingredients or manufactured in a facility with peanuts but has still broke out in hives. Keep...

    Another truck thread....Ford guys

I had an older f150 but I was on the limits of its capabilities too. It handled anything I needed to tow but struggled at times going over passes etc. I couldn’t justify buying a diesel as I don’t tow anything real heavy. Bought a used 19’ f250 6.2 lariat with 4.30 gears last fall. Been very...

    Thoughts of Badlands 2200

Agree with all of the above, I’ve had one for 10 years or so. Loved the pack until an animal was on the ground, it’ll get the job done but it’s not comfortable. Every time I’ve had to take a load out with it I’ve told myself I need to get something better, it started falling apart last year...

    Colorado bullet choices

I used the federal 350 grain lead bullets this year for elk. I shot my bull at 8 yards so can’t really give a great field report on expansion etc, since it passed through. Had good size exit hole. I’ll keep using them.

I may or may not have...........................

I may or may not have bought a new bow. Got home in the evening and couldn’t resist putting a few arrows through it in the backyard, always shot out of town but just had to shoot it. Lived in a subdivision, shot a few and decided to shoot one more. Punched the trigger bad, missed the target and...
