Fishing charters near Santa Maria, CA

Heading down to there to California for the first 2 weeks of July to visit family and the family seems to be pretty interested in fishing the ocean for the first time. I'll say I have zero experience or knowledge on what is available to catch and if July is even a good time of year for it, but...

Who's dealt with severe thoracic back pain?

And what did you do to fix it? Mine had gotten unbearable and borderline crippling, did a lot of expensive dry needling therapy and it was a short term fix. I'm going to start doing the needling again next week but if anyone else has dealt with it, do share please. By severe, I'm talking 24-7...

    Camofire in the bin?

Anyone else having bad experiences lately with them? Please note, I DO NOT want to bash them. Who's driving a 300k+ mileage rig

Just curious your experience. What vehicle, use, ect. Major repairs? I really feel like 200k in today's gas engines are not as bad as the older tech and engine, and 300k+ is realistic if maint.

    Atv tires for PNW

Any suggestions? Was just at les scwab, not much of a selection and premium price. Don't need anything huge to dig trenches through a mud pit, just hunting and exploring, lot of snowy mountain roads. Honda rancher, if it matters

    Extended 185+ heart rate

Anyone do this during their workouts? 15+ minutes of 185+. Side effects? Curious if anyone is doing this, and how it's worked out for them. Seems like it's very different for everyone as to how far they can push it.... Noticed some professional strongmen athletes get over 240 bpm during...

Who's recently gotten into the outdoors and dropped $$

Just out of curiousity, no tech here. Who's recently, say the past 5 years, started from scratch and dropped some decent coin from the get go? This all started from an argument I had earlier this morning with a friend who told me, and i quote, "I'd love to start hunting but I don't have...

    Winter activity fun

What do you folks do to not only pass time, but actually enjoy the cold, snowy weather for several months of the year in the PNW/Canada? Curious to see what others are doing, the usual answer of "snowboard and snowmobile" can't be the only things people are doing. Also, what about getting into...

    Beginner inshore fishing

What advice would you saltwater fishermen give to someone who's interested in learning fishing the big water? Inshore only, nothing crazy offshore. Just day dreaming about moving to the ocean and finding a new life that would include a boat.

Crap You've Broken On Ya Huntin Rig

Let's hear the breakage stories on the huntin rigs while in the mountains, mostly because I'm bored and an argument at work got me interested😂 I'd say my worst was shootin 2 sparkplugs out of my Ford 29 miles from phone service. No real stranded breakage though. What about you Chebby guys...

    The 200,000 Mile Debate

It seems the age old thought process has always been that once a vehicle hits 200k, it's done. My commuter car has almost 300k, runs pretty good and it's beyond abused. My F-250 with the V10 had 248k when I sold it, work truck, lifted, used in Idaho it's whole life, ran real strong when I sold...
