Why is Seek Outside giving gun control advocate Ryan Busse air time?

Myself, and Seek in general have always been naturally curious. Being naturally curious leads us to experiment with fabrics and designs. This natural curiosity means we are open to discussing, learning, and deciding if it is useful to us. In 2021, we recorded our second podcast with Ryan...

Seek Outside Kenai 5400 Pack Review ***updated 12/25/22***

Here is our reasoning. One , a lot of people duo prefer the gatekeepers, though I get a buckle being faster ... I guess there is not a consensus. In our asking of customers ... it comes out about 50/50. It is also relatively simple to convert gatekeepers to having buckles. Just buy some 3/4...

Expanding your sleeping bag's range : bag liner or over bag which is better ?

It all depends on what you are trying to achieve. I have used two quilts , one inside the other, to below 0 on a good pad. You can also do the Nalgene bottle trick , which will create a lot of heat for a couple hours. Synthetic , over down, in long term below freezing can offer some...

It is all in the way you calculate the fill. WM''s are naturally over filled due to how they calculate it.

    Feathered Friends vs Western Mountaineering

Both are great . WM bags seem cut a little larger and FF more alpine . Think of it as like a Patagonia base vs Sitka . If I could only have one bag ever .. it’s the WM badger

When did SO stop offering OD and Coyote pack colors?

We have offered Dyneema in the past. Usually we do it like a drop almost. We may do some again. We can get to a gray color, but not MC or similar on this fabric. When we introduced the new packs, we did so at the Western Hunt Expo. We also offered them with a Wolf gray option , that was a...

When did SO stop offering OD and Coyote pack colors?

FYI - The charcoal is surprisingly muted in the field. It's a bit bright, an shiny on our stock photos. I think we are going to change that. Frankly, all of us are hunters, and all of us were suspicious of the charcoal, and all of were pleasantly surprised in the field.

The Merlin is sized around being compressible...
