The slick bag is a little overpriced and overrated in my opinion. I wasn’t super impressed and I feel like there are plenty of other options for cheaper. But it will get the job done!
I was one of the lucky ones to draw the late 21A muzzleloader deer tag during November. I don’t ever reach out like this but I want to make the best of what sounds like a great tag. If there is anyone on here that has drawn it before or knows any info PM me so we can talk more about it. Thanks!
Definitely recommend a pack cover along with keeping everything in dry bags. I’ve seen the x-pac material fail multiple times in light to moderate rain. I like my kifaru pack cover. Im sure there are other good ones too.
Costco’s trekking poles have been awesome for me! I have a couple aluminum sets and one carbon fiber set. Haven’t broke any of them. They have lasted quite a few hunts in rough terrain.
