Yukon Dall / Caribou Hunt

Reminiscing about my dall/caribou combo up in the Yukon. Was fortunate enough to make my way up and take a couple beautiful animals and whiteness an amazing experience. Had a friend put together my pictures and videos into a short clip for keepsake purposes.

New Build - UM 338 Lap Imp +P

Just got my build in from unknown munitions. Manners LRH Bat Vesper 24” Benchmark SS 8T Triggertech Special Ti Pro 5 Port UM Long DBM ZCO 527 Scope Haven’t got a chance to shoot it yet! But looking forward to seeing how the 300gr OTM performs. It’s 9.9lbs scoped without bipod.

I have the Kaitum 2. Had it up in the Wilmore (Alberta) for the last 10 days of sheep season. We had everything from rain to snow (a lot!) and it was unreal.

What 2-3 calibers would you pick?

Lots of great suggestions. I asked myself the same question and went with the following: 6.5mm - (6.5PRC) 7mm - (7mm Allen Mag) .30 - (30 Nosler)

.30 Cal Selection

All, I have a selection between a gunwerks clymer 30 nosler (22” barrel) and a gunwerks Magnus 300prc (23” barrel). The 30nos will be 8lbs 4oz where the Magnus will be 10lb 3oz (both fully loaded). l plan to be hunting anything from sheep to moose with it up here in Canada. I do realize I will...
