Will do! Thank you for the offer and I'm always down to meet fellow hunter. I would like to say I'm not looking for any handouts though. I make descent money and can still hike and haul meat on my back.
I'm just trying to live live the dream like everyone else.
Hello I know it may seem like the questions are all the same on here but, I'm not one to plan and never follow through. I am also not looking for your units or spots. But I am looking for some direction.
I have four elk points for Wyoming. I also am registered as a non-resident disabled vet with...
Looking for a backpack that can haul meat and gear for the wife to use on a backpack hunt. Condition dosnt matter much. Looking for something around 4000 ci or around 55 liters
She has a 16" torso.

Hi, Myself and two friends are going on a rifle (cow) elk hunt in WY. We will be driving out from CT. We are all military and real familiar with fire arms.
We are looking for public place to shoot along the way out to 400 yards.
I'm also curious if you guys just confirm your zero off some close...
I would do the lock box and hide anything else in the woods. But still think that its a slim chance that anything gets stolen.
Maybe you could also set a trail cam up?
Me and two buddies all drew cow tags for unit 54 in WY.
Does anyone know if Dry Fork creek holds head water in early OCT?
This is our first elk hunt. :)
There's not enough information. What style hunting are you going to do? Backpack, slike camp, or truck/camper camp?
That said all you really need is a warm place to sleep and something to kill with. The rest is nice to have. Also you can't buy a trophy on public land, many of us have tried.
